Head of Sales and Marketing Technology - Midtown - Asset Management - FTE
My client, a privately owned, niche Investment Manager based in Midtown Manhattan are looking for a new Head of Sales and Marketing Technology.
Here are the details:
Main Responsibilities:
- Assist CTO with strategy and implementation of projects within sales and marketing technology with the goal of modernizing the firm's technology as best in industry.
- Build positive working relationships with internal stakeholders and external parties to achieve business goals.
- Develop a communication program between the work and 'customers' as well as IT management which reflects progress, timelines and cost.
- Identify and implement new ways to improve productivity and efficiency of team.
- Provide technical solutions to all Sales and Marketing initiatives.
- Evaluate and offer recommendations to existing core technologies, policies, procedures and/or configuration of existing technologies to better further goals.
- Design and implement next-generation features and functionalities for web sites.
- Assist in all staffing reviews and planning for the Sales and Marketing ecosystem. Propose changes as needed.
- Collect, cleanse, and utilize data to drive business directions.
- Meet with business units and project managers to understand the deliverables and requirements to produce actionable estimates to get the work done.
- Manage a multi-regional team to ensure full up time and development for all business units.
- Identify new and emerging technologies/trends and bring ideas on how we can leverage them to continually innovate.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This job has supervisory responsibilities for a team of developers across four US offices, will be responsible for technical coordination with international offices, and will manage external consultant and vendor relationships.
Key Skills/Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a leader, team player, and collaborator in a technical environment.
- Hands on experience with at least 1 CMS system; certified EpiServer Developer preferred
- Hands on experience with at least 1 CRM system; certified Salesforce administrator preferred
- Hands-on knowledge of key programming languages such as SQL, .Net, HTML/CSS, and Python
- Effective in both written and verbal communication. Able to communicate our company's technology strategy to stakeholders including clients, senior management, and team members.
- Demonstrated ability to conceptualize and implement multiple IT projects on schedule.
- Proven ability to operate in a fast paced, global, and geographically diverse organization.
- Business to business as well as business to consumer experience is a plus.
- Invested in staying up to date with the latest technology trends, topics, tools etc. and evaluates their value to the organization.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Information Technology or related field. Master's Degree preferred.
- MBA is a plus.
- Minimum 10+ years of development experience within financial services (preferably for mutual fund/ETF provider or media/advertising).
- Minimum 8+ years' experience leading or managing a team within CMS/CRM technology.
