This is a technical role with plenty of exposure to hands-on modelling working with scope to move laterally into GI upon qualifying | London based | £35-45k + bonus + study package

Oliver James are pleased to be working with a British multinational general insurer in their search for a new Group Pensions Analyst in London. Due to the nature of the work and structure of the team, there is plenty of scope to move laterally across the business into one of their GI teams, or to relocate internationally upon qualifying.

This role is to support the management of the firms capital, accounting and funding requirements in respect to its defined benefit pension schemes. The role is key in delivering an end-to-end process from robust calculation of the pensions balance sheet & capital risk/requirements through to delivery on a range of measures to senior internal stakeholders. You will calculate and analyse the Group's Solvency II capital requirements & be hands on in capital modelling.

Role requirements:

• Part-qualified pensions actuary making solid exam progress
• Experience of working within a reputable consultancy
• Experience in producing pensions accounting disclosures

This is a unique opportunity to join a reputable insurer in a hands-on technical role early on within your pensions career. This role is unique as it facilitates a direct move into General Insurance that is incredibly desired by Pension Actuaries, but difficult to do after qualifying.
