OJ are currently recruiting for a leading consultancy who are looking for a number of graduate data scientists.

They can consider a range of graduates from masters to PhD in the data science field, with an insurance background or focus.

Role: Graduate Data Scientist

Location: London or Edinburgh, remote workers welcome to apply

Start date: ASAP

Duration: 6 months

Day rate: Up to £650 per day inside IR35, DOE

Experience required:

• Degree in a numerical discipline, for example: economics, finance or other highly quantitative subject.
• M.S. or Ph.D. in a relevant technical field or experience in a relevant role required (desirable but not essential).
• Experience solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches.
• Familiarity with relational databases and SQL.
• Expert knowledge of an analysis tool such as R, Matlab, or SAS.
• Fluency with at least one scripting language such as Python or PHP
