Top tier direct insurer, the role will be part of the APAC regional team, based in Singapore. The incumbent will support Group Companies to develop their pricing function with particular focus on personal lines, such as motor, health, travel, and other lines of business. He/She will also collaborate with other Departments in monitoring and improving the loss ratio performance, as well as enhancing pricing governance.

Responsibilities

• Manage the personal lines pricing in the region and provide specialist GLM / technical pricing support to the Group Companies.
• Manage Group Company's profitability through identifying and developing strategies, improved pricing, as well as product development.
• Perform pricing and or related product referrals from Group Companies.
• Develop and implement advanced analytics and predictive modelling capabilities in the region.
• Support the regional pricing governance framework and improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in actuarial science or related field.
• Experience using Emblem and proficient in SAS or other computer programming, e.g. Tableau, SQL and VBA.
• Knowledge in Machine Learning tools such as R and Python would be an added advantage.
• Good progress with the Actuarial exams.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
