Our Financial Services client is seeking to hire an FP&A specialist for their Dublin City Centre offices.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform ongoing analysis, evaluation, and review of business performance and initiatives against established benchmarks (e.g., plan, forecast, prior year, business cases) as directed.
- Produce daily profit and loss (PnL) reports.
- Conduct monthly and quarterly analysis of expenses, headcount, and valuation adjustments, including providing financial variance commentary and tax analysis/investigations.
- Actively participate in monthly tax transfer pricing meetings, identifying current issues and contributing to their resolution.
- Continuously develop value-added management reporting and enhance understanding of business strategies, as well as the drivers and impacts of financial results
- Offer ad hoc finance support to Front Office and Executive partners, including meeting with them and presenting results for their respective businesses.
- Provide ad hoc assistance to the wider Finance department, which may involve responding to information requests from regulators.
The ideal candidate will likely have;
- Professional Accountancy qualification
- Experience with Investment Banking products
- Prior experience with Financial Planning and Analysis
