Job Description

I am partnered with a boutique specialist Lloyd's insurer in their search for a Financial Reporting and Management Accountant position to join their finance function. Reporting directly into the Financial Reporting Manager, this broad position will have exposure to senior/Exec level stakeholders and will collaborate with all teams throughout the organisation.

Primarily responsible for assisting the Finance Manager is the development of every aspect of the finance function throughout the growth of the organisation, responsibilities will include:

  • Production of management reporting pack and delivery of timely and accurate information to Board
  • Assisting with business planning, forecasting and budgeting, working closely with FP&A Manager
  • Assist in Regulatory Reporting, MGA and FCA Returns
  • Working closely with the Operations Team
  • Liaising with Group Finance to ensure financial reporting is streamlined
  • Liaise with various teams within the business including actuarial and operations

Key requirements include:

  • Newly qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with experience in the insurance industry
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Resilient and adaptable to work in a changing environment
  • Effective communication skills, written and verbal
  • Effective planning and organisational skills
