Job Title: Financial Reporting Accountant

Industry: Insurance

Location: Aylesbury based (3 days in office per week, 2 days remote working)

Duration: 9 months

Salary: Up to £58,000 plus 12-25% discretionary bonus, 30 days annual leave & pension contribution

The role:

- Support the Financial Reporting team with the delivery of the monthly, half yearly and annual financial and regulatory reporting

- Support the preparation of the quarterly and annual statutory, PRA regulatory returns and the preparation of IFRS17 reports to Group Finance

- Preparation and reconciliation of working papers and trial balance

- Assist with the preparation of the monthly MI and provision of commentary

The candidate:

- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)

- Strong financial analyst skills able to solve complex problems that have broad impacts

- Experience of Insurance Financial Reporting either through audit or in Insurance companies advantageous

- Knowledge of IFRS17 requirements highly desirable
