The fast growing partner in clinical research based in Leiden is looking for a Financial Controller as a member of the global Finance Team. You will be the one who ensures accurate, reliable and up-to-date accounting for all global entities on a daily basis.

In this role you will be part of a changing and growing finance team that is highly involved in change projects. You will be working in close cooperation within the Finance team, communicating with global colleagues and with third parties. Financial tasks and responsibilities are shared and controlled within the Finance team, where every team member is a back-up.

This roles involves amongst other, the implementation and maintain of a Risk Control Matrix, the development of the Risk Assessments, creation of the yearly plan of Internal Control, establishing the annual report, stakeholder management with third parties implementation of rules and regulation under Dutch GAAP and US GAAP and EU VAT.

In short, this is a very broad financial control position in a scale up environment with dynamic colleagues! You should have a hands-on mentality, experience with the international accounting principles and standards, and affinity or experience with working in an international environment (SME).
