I am currently recruiting for a Financial Accountant for a well-established Lloyd's insurers. The role will be hybrid and the office is based in London city centre.
Day to day responsibilities of the role include
- Responsibility for accounting, reconciliation, control and analysis tasks in relation to annual technical financial close processes
- Working closely with other functions and stakeholders on delivery of closing processes - this could be in actuarial, underwriting, reinsurance and IT
- Performing and documenting financial controls related to close processes
The ideal candidate will have ;
- Experience of insurance and technical accounting
- Accountant qualifications or qualified by experience
- Experience with Workday or similar general ledger systems
