I am currently recruiting for a Financial Accountant for a well respected Life Insurance Business
The role will be responsible for
- Preparation of quarterly reporting and MI packs and year end financial statement notes.
- Presenting financial information to senior stakeholders for quarterly sign off meetings.
- Preparation of journals and associated controls to enable quarterly submissions to Divisional teams for the following balances, including Actuarial liabilities; Premiums and claims related balances; Collateral; Investment & bank balances
- Assisting with internal and external audit processes.
- Supporting collateral management, including preparation of the transfer forms; collateral validations; and dealing with external clients and internal stakeholders (Operations, Corporate Actuarial and Treasury team)
Profile Requirements
- Qualified accountant or oversea equivalent (ACA/ACCA/CA/CPA/CIMA)
- Newly qualified accountant some experience in insurance or financial services industry preferred
- Advanced Excel skills
- Prior experience with accounting tools
- Must be UK based - hybrid/flexible working available
