I am currently working with one of our Banking clients in the Manchester area who are looking to source a Financial Accountant for 9-12 months on a Fixed Term Contract. This role would suit a recently qualified accountant from an audit background, or someone with experience in the financial services industry. This role would be ideal for someone who is seeking a position which combines technical accounting and reporting.
Role requirements;
- Monthly management accounting
- Monthly reporting
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Year end and half year accounts
- Providing reporting and insight to the wider Finance team as required
Profile requirements;
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified or equivalent.
- Experience of reporting under IFRS.
- Financial Services exposure would be an advantage.
- Experience with month-end/year end processes.
