Finance Manager - Management & Insurance Accounting

The role of Finance Manager - Management & Insurance will report into the CFO. You will be responsible for managing and directing the team charged with the tasks of ensuring that Management Reporting, budget and forecasting obligations are met.

Duties and responsibilities:-

  • Annual budgeting and monthly forecasting (including working closely with the divisional finance teams regarding inputs for the Annual Plan & monthly forecasts)
  • Monthly rolling forecasts
  • Management of the group forecast P&L and balance sheet models
  • Initiate and develop enhancements to the forecast models; develop solutions to model the changing needs of the business
  • Understand the end to end process of revenue and expenses and their inter-dependencies
  • Analysis of business drivers including revenue, costs, asset and liability growth, ROTE
  • Assistance in preparation of key documents for board papers
  • Preparation of executive monthly reporting
  • Enhancement of scenario analysis & sensitivity modelling
  • Actively contribute to process improvement, simplification and cross skilling across the Finance team
  • Ad hoc projects
