As Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include overseeing end-to-end finance operations for your area of responsibility, balance sheet reconciliations, looking to make improvements to procedures and controls, as well as ad-hoc projects and requests.

Responsibilities:

• Management and development of 2 direct reports
• Management and production of daily P&L's.
• Management of the monthly balance sheet reconciliation process.
• Prepare and post monthly accruals, prepayments and similar accounting entries.
• Variance analysis supporting daily P&L's and month end accounts.
• Management and control of allocated cost lines.
• Support on cost reviews with budget holders.
• Management and control of Capex spend.
• Production of monthly management accounts.
• Support the Financial Controller with the year end and interim audits.
• Ensure the management accounts team adheres to multichannel and group finance deadlines.

Skills:

• CIMA / ACCA / ACA Qualified Accountant
• Management accounts / core finance experience essential.
• Management experience essential.
• Advanced Excel skills, SQL experience not essential but an advantage
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Good interpersonal skills, with a track record of developing positive working relationships with finance and non-finance colleagues.
