I am currently partnering with an outstandingly ethical insurance company who are on a mission to change the way then world works with regards to a specific are of health insurance.

They are looking to bring on an ambitious Finance Manager who will report directly to the Finance Director being a pivotal hire for the growth and sustainability of the company.

As the Finance Manager, you will oversee external accountants, manage operational payments, handle tax matters, and develop accounting policies. You'll prepare for and manage the first audit, oversee monthly opex and budgets, and seek grant opportunities. Your role also involves building a robust accounting infrastructure for accurate and timely reporting, making it crucial for the companies financial success.

An ideal candidate for the Finance Manager position possesses essential qualifications - ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or ICAEW certification with 2-3 years of post-qualification experience. They are ambitious, aspiring to become a financial controller, and show unwavering attention to detail, emphasising high-quality work. With a genuine passion for accounting, they view it as more than a mere check box. Their ability to take ownership and collaborate across departments to streamline processes is a valuable trait. They actively seek automation opportunities and may bring expertise in financial products and software tools such as Xero, Stripe, and SQL.

This role would suit a 1st or 2nd time mover prop practice who is looking to join a contiantiouis company with a truly inspiring vision where hard work is rewarded.
