I am recruiting for a Finance Manager to join one of the UK's leading insurers on a 12 month fixed term contract. The role will be based in the Birmingham office 1 day per week/4 days working from home.

The role:

Joining the Cost Allocation team, you will be responsible for the cost and expense management across the business, along with oversight of the month and quarter end close process. This role is a back fill to support BAU activity across the team, and will involve frequent exposure to consolidating financial statements, plus reporting management information to the Group. Significant stakeholder management and engagement. This vacancy would also be suitable for an FP&A or Business Partner candidate.

The candidate:

- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)

- Solid understanding of the Insurance industry, preferably Life

- Experience with cost allocation/cost management/cost reporting/expenses

- Ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels of business
