Finance Data Analyst
Exciting opportunity to join a well established Irish PLC going through a data driven transformation!
Reporting to the Data reporting manager, the ideal candidate will have a mix of finance and data analytics background and experience working in big data. This will be on a newly set up team and a chance to collaborate across functions.
Some Key Responsibilities:
- Analysis of business requirements to assess data availability and define reporting requirements in conjunction with other stakeholders
- Develop tools for enhanced reporting, such as Excel add-ins, automation feeds, visualisation of data via dashboards
- Implement accurate and on-time delivery of fit-for-purpose reporting solutions, with a high attention to detail and ease of support/scalability
- Translate the business reporting requirements into a reporting and data analysis approach and roll out continuous reporting improvements to the Finance Business Partner team, FP&A, Financial Reporting, Finance Operations and Revenue Accounting Teams.
Key Requirements:
- Data automation and visualisation experience (Power BI, Tableau, Blackline, Cognos)
- Experience with supporting a large finance function
- Working knowledge of SQL
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science OR Business or Accounting with min 6 years' experience in data analytics and MIS
