On behalf of our client who is a rapidly growing life reinsurer, Oliver James are currently recruiting for a Manager within finance change. Oliver James are looking for a highly motivated individual to join the finance change team to advocate for the business in the change control model for finance.

The ideal candidate will have the following attributes;

  • Qualified Accountant (3+ years post qualified experience), preferably with experience in the insurance industry
  • Experience of implementations of finance systems
  • Experience of SAP or Oracle-based finance systems desired
  • Experience of multi-GAAP reporting environments desired
  • Experience of controls and processes within the finance function
  • Strong independent thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills across different disciplines and levels of seniority with the organisation
  • Team player who can maintain good working relationships.
  • Demonstrate flexible and efficient time management and ability to prioritise workload

We are looking for candidates with a strong technical background who can work autonomously within an agreed framework, while seeking to question and improve the existing processes. As this role interacts with many teams across the Division, outstanding interpersonal and communication skills are a must.
