Our client is currently seeking an Analyst to join its Control and Finance team to support the expanding European business. The team, based in Dublin, collaborates closely with European portfolio managers and deal teams, overseeing monthly NAV governance, financial reporting, board reporting, and investor reporting for various European investment entities.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct monthly NAV governance and control activities, ensuring alignment with the fund administrator's records.
• Prepare and record accounting entries in the Geneva accounting system (e.g., capital activity, expenses, intercompany transactions).
• Assist in reviewing monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts and reconciliations for European entities, prepared under US GAAP, IFRS, or local GAAP.
• Document, streamline, and enhance processes.
• Aid in technical accounting analysis for new deals and restructuring.
• Contribute to the budgeting and forecasting process.
• Assist in audit and regulatory reviews.
• Supervise deliverables of various European-based service providers.
• Contribute to the preparation of periodic board reporting packs.
• Process invoices/wires.
• Undertake ad hoc project work as required.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• Relevant degree in Business/Accounting.
• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, etc.) or in the final stages of attaining such qualification.
• Strong technical accounting skills, particularly in IFRS.
• 3-5 years of accounting or audit experience in financial services, preferably covering private debt or loan accounting
• Experience with Microsoft Office products and SS&C Advent Geneva is advantageous.
