We are a global team that develops automated Credit & Rates trading workflow automation software for the firm and its clients,playing an active role increasing the firm's electronic trading capabilities. Team members combine engineering expertise, close daily collaboration with trading / sales, and capital markets / client business expertise to deliver solutions that advance the division's electronic trading goals.
As a strategist who sits in the Division, you will play an integral role on the trading floor. You may create cutting-edge derivative pricing models and empirical models to provide insight into market behaviour, or develop automated trading algorithms for the firm and its clients. You might be involved in analysing exposures and structuring transactions to meet client needs, or involved in designing and developing complex parallel computing architectures, electronic trading tools, and advanced algorithms. Throughout the Securities Division, strategists are using quantitative and technological techniques to solve complex business problems.
How you will fulfil your potential
Participate in all project lifecycle phases: analyze, design, test, research, support & maintain. You will build expertise in front-office e-trading software, capital markets/client service, and trading automation strategies. Collaborate closely with traders, salespeople and other strategists. Typical projects include writing software to automate trading workflow, reacting to market developments by covering new trading protocols/product types, and building safety controls into electronic trading systems

Skills & Experience
- Bachelors, Masters or Doctoral degree in a STEM discipline
- Proven experience with an object oriented programming language in an enterprise environment
- Strong communication skills
- Strong Java developer
- Experience developing FICC electronic trading software
- Existing experience of, or a willingness to learn about, market dynamics and conventions, and of different products' behaviours and specifications
- Experience building large-scale distributed systems
- Associate / VP level
