Job Title: External Auditor

Duration: Permanent

Salary: £60,000-75,000 (dependent upon experience) plus bonus, pension & benefits

Location: Primarily remote working with 2-4 days in the Preston office per month

The Role:

- Support the group's acquisition strategy through the assessment of the impact of technical accounting considerations on potential and acquired businesses

- Responsible for the end to end process of reporting standard assessment through to implementation

- Drive delivery of the group's transition to compliance under the various new standards

- Support the group and divisions with the introduction of key sustainability-related disclosures and reporting standards

The Candidate:

- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)

- Experience of assessment and application of IFRS or other accounting/technical standards

- Big 4 or Insurance industry experience ideal (Life Insurance highly advantageous)

- Has experience or an interest in Sustainability Reporting (Climate, ESG etc.)
