Job Description

This role is focused on providing technical applications support, facing off to FX business; however, a good conceptual understanding of the underlying IT infrastructure is highly desirable.

Candidate is NOT expected to do System Administration (Unix, Windows, Linus or Database), but he/she should have or should be able to acquire sufficient knowledge to be able to troubleshoot/perform actions in all the technologies used in Bank's environment (All applications are hosted on servers in data centers located in Paris / London / SG / NY).

Technical support is expected to follow internal standards & norms regarding production management (minimum standard).

  • Degree holder in Computer Science or related discipline
  • Basic understanding of financial markets and products
  • Experience (minimum 5 years) on production support for trading systems
  • Experience supporting FX trading and sales applications
  • Exposure to position and risk management
  • Experience in IT services & operations
  • Good knowledge of ITIL processes
  • Good knowledge of Windows Server and IIS
  • Good knowledge of Linux/Unix
  • Good documentation skills
  • Working knowledge of networks, firewalls, proxies, database, systems and application management
  • Candidates will ideally have worked in a fast-moving, high-pressure environment supporting mission-critical applications and/or infrastructure, facing off to demanding customers
  • Strong experience working with both project team & users
  • Strong experience with change management skills
