Job Description

The company aims to become a Data-Driven Company, the Big Data Analytics team within the Digital B.U. structure has the objective to support this transformation by developing advanced analytics and artificial intelligence use cases, leveraging on modern agile methodologies and applying innovative machine learning algorithms to extract value from the company's big data.

Main responsibilities and activities:

  • Analyze complex datasets to discover hidden relationships to enable actionable business insights
  • Apply advanced statistical and machine learning modeling to address Business use cases (segmentation, x-sell & up-sell, churn prediction, fraud prediction, network analysis, …) and implement artificial intelligence products (virtual agents, bots, …)

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in data preparation (exploratory analysis, profiling & cleansing, feature selection, feature engineering)
  • Good knowledge of statistical modeling
  • Knowledge of major Machine Learning algorithms (classification, clustering, bagging, boosting) and methodologies (CRISP-DM)
  • Preferred: knowledge of Deep Learning models and techniques
  • Experience with programming languages (Python, Java, SQL) and data analytics libraries (Pandas, Scikit-learn)
  • Preferred: knowledge of open source analytics packages (TensorFlow, KNIME)
  • Preferred: experience with Natural Language, Image and Speech processing
  • Familiar with common Data Management architectures and the SQL language
  • Basic knowledge of Data Visualization and Marketing Automation tools
  • Preferred: working experience on Telco companies, knowledge of Customer Value Management processes
  • 3+ years of demonstrated experience in Data Science and Big Data Analytics fields
  • MSc in Engineering, Statistics, Physics or other related disciplines
  • Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Capable to work with different stakeholder in multifunctional and multinational projects
  • Demonstrable success in contributing to a team-oriented environment
  • Good communication (written and oral) and presentation skills
