Job Description

Seeking a data Guardian to support the Data Protection Officer (DPO) in delivering business level compliance with the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The Data Guardian will ensure that employees are fully aware of their obligations under GDPR, whilst promoting a strong and positive culture of data protection excellence through high quality training and feeding in to Computer Based Training (CBTs) modules where necessary.

Seeking a data Guardian to support the Data Protection Officer (DPO) in delivering business level compliance with the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The Data Guardian will ensure that employees are fully aware of their obligations under GDPR, whilst promoting a strong and positive culture of data protection excellence through high quality training and feeding in to Computer Based Training (CBTs) modules where necessary. Key elements of the role includes manage the delivery of Subject Access Requests (SARs) from data subjects, as well as executing Data Protection Impact Assessments on behalf of the DPO.

You will be responsible for leadership having to have the ability to deliver the data protection strategy as defined by the Data Protection Officer (DPO). As well as Compliance & Risk Management to inform and advise employees of their obligations under GDPR and ensure customer centricity when handling data subjects personal data.

We are looking for an individual with attention to detail skills to handle tasks with thoroughness and accuracy to recognises and resolves errors, you will also need to be able to communicate clearly, listens effectively with written communication being concise and well presented, using appropriate grammar, style and language.

We want someone that has technical knowledge appropriate to the role, including relevant computer systems and keeps this knowledge up to date, serves as an individual contributor, suggesting new ideas and works well in a team, whilst accepting responsibility, solves problems and makes appropriate decisions.

It is important that you are able to develop basic knowledge of the industry and ensures individual work contributes to the success of the Company.
