Role: Credit Analyst
The candidate, under the guidance of the Credit Risk Director, will be trained to quickly become autonomous and to be responsible for the underwriting and portfolio monitoring of Italian SMEs.
Activities:
- Assessment of the borrowers' credit risk: analysis of the financial information, compilation of market information, review of financial and legal audits, client interviews and compliance check.
- Credit underwriting: preparation of the project description for publication and key figures, implementation of documentation.
- Outstanding monitoring (execution of post closings operations, archiving, reporting, implementation of statistical tools, etc.).
- Financial data market watch using specialized sources of financial information
- Be a source of proposition and innovation for improving existing processes/tools.
- Collaborate with other teams to establish key actions around risk mitigation and compliance with policies.
Desired experience:
- Min 3 years of experience in credit analysis acquired in Italy in a financial institution or audit firm (big 4).
Knowledge and skills:
- Native Italian or fluent in Italian
- Financial or economical academic training
- Good knowledge in Corporate Finance, balance sheet and P&L analysis
- Good communication (oral and written) skills
- Hands-on, results-oriented approach to business with a "can-do" attitude.
