Our client is a reputable shipping company, who is looking for a Corporate Secretary & Compliance Coordinator to be a part of their Legal & Compliance department.

You will be providing a full range of company secretarial functions such as ensuring that the company and its affiliates comply with all legal and regulatory requirements, as well as maintain the highest standards of corporate governance. You will be managing their company secretary and compliance system in accordance with internal policies and procedures while maintaining and updating records in their system.

This role is responsible for all matters pertaining to company formations and dissolution, board resolutions, powers of attorney, approvals, corporate and regulatory filings, notarisation and legalisation of documents, and ensuring timely annual compliance's with each company's jurisdiction of incorporation. Screening all counter parties for restricted, sanctioned and prohibited individuals and entities; screening cargo supply chains and vessels for regulatory violations and escalating any adverse findings.

We are looking for:

• Preferably ICSA qualification or holder
• At least 5 years of corporate secretarial experience or a background with a focus on company law and corporate governance
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Ability to work under pressure and has the attention to detail
