I have current and urgent mandates for corporate insurance lawyers at the associate / senior associate level. I am currently searching on behalf of a renowned global practice (that has grown significantly through acquisition), and a pedigree US firm with exceptional exposure to this work from a practice perspective. I also have an atypical opportunity working for a leading, globally recognised (re)insurer that have a very exciting start-up venture.
Your work can be in any area of the corporate insurance world from M&A, through to the transfer of risks between pensions, life and general insurance deals and beyond. You may also work on divestments such as Part VII / run-off acquisitions as well as other general corporate work such as joint ventures and partnership agreements. This can be in life, GI / P&C, pensions or associated industries, e.g. structured deals from a banking, funds or derivatives perspective
The needs for associates / senior associates are "at the coal-face". You will be working closely with leading partners (providing direct training and mentorship) to complete a vast array of deals in a busy market. The market continues to be buoyed by a need to strengthen meaning the size, structure and variety of deals is extremely broad. There will be no need to market at this level, and a chance for exceptional career growth in a comparatively short time. Right now, all you need is a strong academic background, solid training and post qualification experience in relevant deals and a desire to absorb and learn more. You will be rewarded with an excellent remuneration package and an extremely steep learning curve.
This is a great opportunity for Senior Associates who would like to push on to Partner designate / partner level as soon as possible. The client is winning a huge amount of business and they feel that an opportunity exists to make up at least two partners in this space in the medium term. They are therefore seeking to increase their senior associate pool in terms of short term delivery of projects, but with a view to working closely with these individuals to grow them quickly into senior, prominent positions in the group.
The in house opportunity is specifically seeking a specialist in the longevity risk transfer space and offers the chance to lead this particular start-up business unit as it continues to evolve and grow.
