I have current and urgent mandates for corporate insurance lawyers at the associate / senior associate level. I am currently searching on behalf of a renowned global practice (that has grown significantly through acquisition), and a pedigree US firm with exceptional exposure to this work.
Your work can be in any area of the corporate insurance world from M&A, through to to the transfer of risks between pensions, life and general insurance deals and beyond. You may also work on divestments such as Part VII / run-off acquisitions as well as other general corporate work such as joint ventures and partnership agreements.
The needs for associates are "at the coal-face". You will be working closely with leading partners (providing direct training and mentoring) to complete a vast array of deals in a busy market. The market continues to be buoyed by a need to strengthen meaning the size, structure and variety of deals is extremely broad. There will be no need to market at this level, and a chance for exceptional career growth an a comparatively short time. Right now, all you need is a strong academic background, solid training and post qualification experience in relevant deals and a desire to absorb and learn more. You will be rewarded with an excellent remuneration package and an extremely steep learning curve.
For the Senior Associates there are two distinct paths. The first echoes the sentiment of the above, but with heightened responsibility in terms of client contact and marketing input but broadly relies on delivery and broader technical exposure.
The second is seeking Senior Associates who would like to push on to Partner designate / partner level as soon as possible. The client is winning a huge amount of business and they feel that an opportunity exists to make up at least two partners in this space in the medium term. They are therefore seeking to increase their senior associate pool in terms of short term delivery of projects, but with a view to working closely with these individuals to grow them quickly into senior, prominent positions in the group.
