A leading P&C insurer is looking to hire a Construction Claims Supervisor for their growing team in Buffalo, New York. You will be responsible for leading and developing a team of talented Adjusters, whilst also driving strategy and managing key business relationships. In addition, the Construction Claims Manager manages outside panel defence counsel across multiple states. This role must be based in Buffalo, but some flexibility into remote working may be accomodated.
Job Responsibilities
- Managing a team of 5+ Senior Construction / Litigation Claims Adjusters
- Drive strategy for the construction / litigation department
- Law firm performance, establishing rates and metric goals
- Management of outside panel counsel.
Experience Required:
- Experience handling high exposure Construction, NY Labor Law and Defect claims.
- High level technical knowledge of state regulations is required.
- Strong leadership experience gained in a challenging claims environment
- Experience of managing outside panel counsel.
