Oliver James are currently representing a General Insurer for a Compliance Officer. The role will support the Compliance Manager in a wide range of responsibilities relating the the regulatory compliance of the organisation. You will gain 1st hand exposure to how an international insurance business operates.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Working closely with all of the business areas in the UK to identify, analyse, co-ordinate and implement any changes in response to additional legal or regulatory compliance requirements
- To develop and/or work with management to develop and review as appropriate the necessary policies, procedures and manuals
- Reviewing, updating and implementing the Compliance Monitoring Plan for the UK business.
- Regular liaison with the FCA
My client are looking for strong Compliance professionals with a proven track record of managing small teams. General Insurance is not a prerequisite, however the ability to communicate at both senior and junior levels is essential.
