Job Title: Compliance Officer

Duration: 12 months

Rates/Salary: £75,000-90,000 FTC plus 17.5% bonus

Location: London based (2-3 days in office per week, plus home working)

The Role:

- Ensuring that the Advisory and Assurance Compliance function within the Legal Entities is managed effectively and in compliance with our regulatory obligations and key values.

- Represent the Compliance Function at governing body meetings, which may include board committees, legal entity committees and any other committee as required in conjunction with the Head and Deputy Head of Compliance, reporting on compliance matters and participating in executive management matters.

- Managing the regulatory relationship with key regulators including the PRA, FCA, and Lloyd's.

- Assisting with the delivery of an effective annual compliance plan and training and monitoring program. This will include the oversight of day to day monitoring activity such as ensuring all regulatory deadlines are met.

- Provide strategic direction to the Advisory and Assurance Pillar.

The Candidate:

- Knowledge and experience of the Lloyd's Minimum Standards and their practical application.

- Extensive experience interpreting and applying regulatory rules to practical scenarios and helping to devise compliant, and commercially acceptable solution.

- Good awareness of the wider business and regulatory environment and ability to understand the potential impacts of the market and regulatory changes on legal entities.

- Ability to challenge and apply professional scepticism to data and compliance related information.

- Strong leadership and people management skills.
