I am currently partnered with a leading Financial Services firm based in the North Birmingham area who are currently looking for a Compliance Manager within a Regulatory Advisory capacity. This is a hybrid based role, looking for someone to travel into the office once per week. The company is currently offering £50,000 to £55,000 per annum + bonus and wider benefits.

Day to day responsibilities;

• Provide second line assurance to the business through reviews of internal files, complaints, claims and T&C's.
• Reporting on activity within the business to the relevant parties in relation to Risk and Compliance frameworks.
• Assessing potential risks to the business via regulatory updates impacting the market, providing consultancy services to implement change within the Risk and Compliance functions.
• Supporting the Directors in relation to reporting to the relevant governing bodies in a timely manner.

Profile requirements;

• Technical knowledge and practical application of the FCA handbook.
• Experience of working in a Business Advisory role, managing senior stakeholders and building relationships with various business functions.
• Knowledge of SMCR, CONC and ICOBS would be beneficial - particularly within the Financial Services space.
• Ability to travel to North Birmingham once a week is essential.
