Role Overview: As a Claims Specialist at Oliver James, you will play a pivotal role in the insurance claims process, ensuring timely and accurate resolution for our clients. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Handling insurance claims from initiation to resolution, including investigation, evaluation, negotiation, and settlement.
  • Analyzing policy coverage and determining the extent of liability and potential damages.
  • Communicating effectively with policyholders, claimants, and other relevant parties to gather information and documentation.
  • Reviewing claim documentation, including medical records, witness statements, and evidence, to assess validity and determine appropriate course of action.
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, such as underwriters, attorneys, and adjusters, to expedite the claims process and achieve favorable outcomes.
  • Providing exceptional customer service and maintaining positive relationships with clients throughout the claims process.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in insurance claims handling.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance policies, regulations, and procedures.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications, such as claims management systems.
  • Relevant certifications or licenses may be required.
