Oliver James is currently recruiting for a Chief Risk Officer on behalf of our client, a leading Insurance firm with an excellent local and global reputation.
This senior position within the firm will focus on the facilitation of efficient operation of the local and group risk frameworks while holding the PCF14 position for Ireland.
The core focus of this role will be to ensure a strong risk culture within the business and ensuring the risk management framework operate in an effective manner for both local and group entities.
- You will also be responsible for ensuring the risk culture across both local and group by conducting regular risk assessments and implementing robust control environments.
- Provide appraisal of the control environments proposed by the business and provide recommendations to the organisation and senior management.
- Oversee reverse stress testing framework.
- Maintain and continue to develop strong relationship with local regulators
- Prepare risk reports for relevant committees
- Provide training and development where appropriate to new joiners
- oversee risk incidents frameworks.
This role will suit an seasoned Chief Risk Officer, Head of Risk or HOAF candidate keen to take a step into a more strategic role while also using risk to contribute to the overall businesses growth/development.
