Business Intelligence Analyst
Oliver James have been appointed to recruit for a BI Analyst for a leading global Insurance business to join their Reporting team to translate business requirements to technical requirements, produce reports and MI solutions using Power BI to ultimately help enable the business use data to make better business decisions for the syndicate Underwriting teams.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop innovative analytics
- Make analytical recommendations to stakeholders to drive better business outcomes
- Maintain existing BI by fixing, enhancing and support customer support activities
- Manipulate large data sets to provide actionable insights and present to stakeholders
- Provide technical support to end users
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
- Use Power BI to create reports and dashboards and present to stakeholders
- Regularly engage with stakeholders to develop MI solutions
Skills & Experience:
- Experience in using analytics to drive business outcomes
- Experience in using reporting and dashboard tools, e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Qlik
- Experience working in the London Insurance Market and comfortable talking through processes
- Experience of using data to drive business value
- Strong experience establishing and maintaining stakeholder relationships
