Business Analyst - Leeds - Up to £40k

My Client, a leading organisation based in West Yorkshire, are looking to recruit a Business Analyst on a permanent basis. Projects will include the implementation of a global payments system as well process improvement. The organisation is looking for a driven and hard working individual who has experience of working on similar projects.

The successful Business Analyst will be responsible for:

  • Implementing a new global payments system.
  • Delivering on process improvement objects.
  • Analyse, understand and correctly articulate the current 'As Is' state ensuring a sound basis for when capturing and articulating the future 'To Be' state.
  • Capture, validate, document and communicate the non-functional requirements that support the successful delivery of the solution allowing for future scaling.

In order to be considered for the Business Analyst position, you must demonstrate:

  • Experience of working on complex projects in a structured way. Strong analytical and facilitation skills to ensure business needs and effective solutions can be clearly and rapidly understood and delivered

  • Curious in what you do and question why you are doing it. Desire to ensure that solutions are right for the business

  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management abilities. Able to build trust and confidence with senior stakeholders but comfortable to challenge, negotiate and persuade when necessary. Able to handle conflict and knows when to escalate.

  • Articulate with strong written and personal presentation skills.

  • Committed in what you do and deliver consistent results.

  • Relevant professional qualifications (e.g. ISEB) desirable

  • Comfortable handling multiple projects and competing priorities while operating in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment.
