Oliver James are currently recruiting an excellent opportunity for an experienced company secretary to take a step away from daily administration and focus on developing an in-house corporate governance framework policy acting as in an autonomous role reporting into the Head of Function.

A newly created, Assistant Company Secretary position has arisen with a leading life insurer client due to rapid growth in the organisation. The focus on the business is to in-house their CoSec function. This position will allow you to continue to develop your cosec skills at a board and executive committee level while helping develop and build the Cosec Function. You will assist in developing internal policies, integrations systems, coordinating flight paths for governance frameworks and sitting on longevity meetings.

As this is a newly created function in a thriving organisation, you will also have the opportunity to develop in the role and a clear progression line as the business and function continues to grow.

The successful candidate will be part qual/fully ICSA qualified and possess a minimum of 4 years experience within a Company Secretary function (Law Firm, CSP, Big 4 or in-house function)

You will also have knowledge of governance best practices, relevant issues, statutory requirements and regulations. This opportunity does not require specific life insurance experience. My client is open to candidates with strong cosec experience from Financial Services and Asset management also.
