A leading global consulting firm is looking for an Application Security Specialist to join their expanding Security team. This incumbent will be partnering the Security Lead in the 'Business as Usual' (BAU) task. You will have extensive autonomy in making critical and strategic decisions for the business.
Principal Responsibilities
- To provide and bring in technical expertise in order to validate application architecture, design, code, and implementation in accordance with security standards across the Platform suite, including Data
- To implement and manage security components such as automation, access controls, compliance, alerting, and monitoring within the platform (AWS Cloud implementation)
- Ownership and management of security tools such as Synk, Checkmarx, Burpsuite, and Brinqa across APAC platforms
- Recognize areas for platform security improvements and support a secure continuous delivery approach
- To collaborate with the Global Product Security team to coordinate the remediation of all Security review findings, including pen testing findings
- Evaluate the current Platform infrastructure and collaborate with leaders to develop improvement strategies and a roadmap
- Collaborate with leaders to write/design APAC security policy
- Conducting weekly/bi-weekly security reviews with the development team and leaders, as well as compiling and presenting monthly executive reports/weekly reports to APAC leadership
Experience Requirements
- Graduated from college. preferably in computer science, IT, or a related field
- At least 4 years of experience, preferably in the area of information security
- Extensive knowledge of configuring and supporting an Azure Cloud environment
- Sound knowledge of information security topics, technologies, tools and trends
