We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Applications Analyst to join a reputable medium sized business within Financial Services. Based from their modern office near Knutsford, you will be responsible for the development & support of all business system applications.
Main Responsibilities:
- To carry out development, testing and implementation of software, systems as well as enhancements t the OTIS application
- Recommend within projects as well as system improvements
- Act as a technical expert & tech lead for application related projects
- Support members of staff with requests and general support
- Work on system designs and implementations
- Ability to communicate complex concepts to both technical and non tech colleagues
Skills & Experience
- Oracle database experience - SQL, PL/SQL
- Experience with Application express development and administration
- Exposure to database administration in a Linux/UNIX environment
- Experience providing 2nd Line support for databases & associates applications
Desirable
- Oracle FlexCube
- SQL Server, Windows Server
- SAP, IBM MQ
- Webserver knowledge
- Financial Services experience
