Analytics Manager
Oliver James have been appointed to recruit for a Analytics Manager for a Reinsurance business to be responsible for developing and implementing data-driven insights to lead and develop the adoption of analytics across underwriting and actuarial teams, driving data insights to improve business performance.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the underwriting and actuarial teams to create meaningful adoption of analytics
- Create metrics that helps and drive decision making at risk and portfolio level
- Be the driving force for using underwriting and actuarial data to ensure consistency
- Identify gaps in data and finding external sources and analytics tools to build a consistent view of data
- Act as the Power BI owner
- Develop a culture of data-driven decision making through training and education
Skills & experience:
- Extensive experience in data analytics or a related field
- Experience using Power BI
- Understanding of Reinsurance and Insurance industry required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with stakeholders
- Experience in data analytics tools, SQL, Excel, etc.
