Job Description

Agile Practise Lead

To provide our Scrum Master community of practice with a lead who can guide mentor and coach them.

To provide our delivery practice with a hands on coach who can work with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, teams, stakeholders and senior leadership on adoption and embedding of Agile and Lean practices.

Accountabilities
Support, guide and coach the community in best practice

Shape and define learning and development pathways.

Act in a leadership capacity as a point of personal development, escalation and problem solving

Develop competence: To focus on continuous improvement of your personal competence [and professional development] and support your colleagues and their continuous improvement where possible

Risk: To understand and work within the company's risk framework

Conduct Risk: Work within the Group's Conduct Risk Policy, and specifically working practices identified in the department to treat customers fairly.

Qualifications

  • SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, XP, Design Thinking, Coaching
  • Servant Leadership
  • First rate communicator and facilitator
  • Comfortable working with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, teams and a broad stakeholder base with the ability to adapt your style to the context.
  • Diverse teaching, training and coaching toolbox covering Agile delivery, ceremonies and practices.
  • 101+ different retrospective techniques in your toolbox
  • Strong problem solving and root cause analysis skills
  • Lead on recruitment of new team members, retention and personal development
  • Provide pragmatic support, direction and advice to team members and the wider delivery community on the application of Agile practices
  • Foster and nourish a spirit of collaboration within the team
  • Support and mentor team members using the company's continuous performance conversation and development frameworks
  • Set clear goals, feedback, and personal development challenges
  • Gather, review and understand team health and feedback to identify opportunities to improve
  • Coaching scrum masters, product owners, team members, stakeholders and senior leadership
  • Establishing, supporting and guiding a community of practice
  • Mix of Delivery/Transformation experience
