Job Description

They provide highly complex analysis and techniques which support the business' operations in achieving its goals related to revenue and profitability targets. This role is expected to also participate in the department's rotational program, which provides the opportunity to gain experience in numerous areas of the Actuarial organization while also understanding all products included in the full product suite, however the role will focus on Auto Pricing.

The Actuarial Analyst plans, organizes, and provides quality detail within a team of entry to senior-level staff whom support various actuarial functions that include pricing, reserving, financial reporting, capital management & forecasting.
They provide highly complex analysis and techniques which support the business' operations in achieving its goals related to revenue and profitability targets. Requirements:
Excellent quantitative, analytical and problem solving skills
Effective documentation skills
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Advanced M.S. Excel and Word skills
Programming knowledge (SAS, Access, VBA, SQL or others) is preferable.
Ability to distill complex concepts into simpler examples in order to communicate to non-technical business partners
Ability to manage small scale projects
Bachelor's degree required; Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, or related field preferred
5+ years of relevant actuarial work experience
Successful completion of several Casualty Actuary Society exams is preferred including new ACAS or near ACAS
