Job Description

You will provide the highest quality service to clients, focussing primarily on UK DB pension schemes, providing both Trustee and company advice, and also DC schemes.

In a team of around 200 actuaries at all levels across the UK, you will enjoy a wide range of work which will give you a fresh challenge daily, ranging from speaking with clients to getting involved in programming systems, whilst you continue to make outstanding progress through your FIA/FFA examinations.

My client is one of the UK's leading investment, pensions and benefit consultancies which boasts a truly impressive client base comprised of some of the UK's largest pension schemes and top-tier household names.

The Pensions Actuarial practice is at the heart of the business and due to growth of this team, we are seeking to appoint a part qualified Actuarial Analyst to further strengthen the group.

This consultancy is number 1 in the longevity swaps and buy-out market so this would be another string to your bow.

Importantly, this is a really supportive environment in which to progress through your exams; the team is welcoming and encouraging and enjoys some good socials (whilst working hard)!

Excitingly, the majority of work done out of this office is corporate although you will enjoy Trustee work, too.

You might work on valuations, individual calculations, financial reporting, buy-ins, buyouts and wind ups, corporate advice, issues relating to the PPF and check work of the more junior staff whilst communicating with clients and providing the best level of service.

In a team of around 200 actuaries at all levels across the UK, you will enjoy a wide range of work which will give you a fresh challenge daily, ranging from direct client contact to getting involved in programming systems, whilst you continue to make outstanding progress through your FIA/FFA examinations.

You will have 1 to 2 years' pensions actuarial experience, demonstrable exam progress plus excellent academics and communication skills.
