This role is a contract role with a 1 year duration.
This is a hands-on role, which requires the applicant to be able to support the Singapore and Labuan quarterly/monthly closing and reporting activities, so that that all regulatory reports (MAS, Labuan FSA, IRAS, RMCD) can be completed in an accurate and timely manner. Advanced excel skills and understanding of formulas with the ability to work through formulas and processes are highly desirable.
- Be involved in the quarterly closing of the Singapore and Labuan General Ledgers, including performing reconciliations and calculations, and passing manual journal entries
- Support the preparation of the quarterly MAS and Labuan FSA regulatory reports, annual financial statements, as well as industry surveys
- Prepare the data required for the completion of the quarterly GST returns for Singapore (IRAS) and monthly SST returns for Labuan (RMCD)
- Be involved in any ongoing finance projects or process improvements activities
Professional experience:
- At least 3 years' relevant accounting experience, preferably in an insurance or reinsurance company
- Preferably familiar with MAS and Labuan FSA regulatory reporting
- At least Intermediate Excel skills are preferred
- Advanced excel skills and understanding of formulas with the ability to work through formulas and processes are highly desirable
