About the Company:

The company has a large, expanding footprint on the Irish insurance market and is looking for someone eager to come in and grow with them, they have a particular focus on learning and development, career progression and internal promotion.

The role:

As a Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for the production of the quarterly and annual returns, narrative and statistical reporting, supporting the financial controller with adhoc projects as needed.

You will be instrumental in the further development of the financial function working closely with and assisting the financial controller and other senior leadership figures, with particular focus on regulatory and statutory reporting, supporting syndicates and reviewing output of junior team members

About you:

Ideally you will be an ambitious, self staring professional who is keen to take the next step in your career, and have experience within Financial Services

• Newly Qualified Accountant (Ideally 1-2 years experience in Financial Services)
• Experience in GL accounting
• Demonstrated working knowledge of financial reporting standards (GAAP, IFRS, FRS 102, )
