Oliver James Associates has joined Women in Recruitment (WIR) to celebrate, empower and develop its female talent.

WIR was founded by David Head, Director of Recruitment International; “The talent pipeline in many recruitment organisations continues to leak women – often at a time when they can add most value to the business. This programme is designed to provide mentoring, personal development and networking opportunities for women in recruitment as well as toolkits for business leaders to encourage best practice”. WIR is supported by the Association of Professional Staffing Companies (APSCo), Barclays and legal services firm Squire Patton Boggs.

WIR has set its ambition high with three goals in mind: To help Engage, Develop and Connect individual females within the recruitment profession; To inform, advise and assist organisations to understand the opportunity that sits behind Gender Diversity; To Establish the Recruitment Profession as a “Brand of Excellence” in Diversity and Inclusion practices.

Oliver James Associates is thrilled to have joined WIR and to embark on the journey to empower women to reach their full potential and is fully committed to inspiring female talent.

Membership gives us access to personal development workshops, seminars, and research WIR carry out along with whitepapers. We also have the opportunity to meet with fellow professionals in a relaxed atmosphere at regular mentoring and networking events.
