Description: Market leading financial services organisation seek a Risk Manager with a genuine ability to enable the business to manage and mitigate risk effectively in order to gain a commercial advantage. The remit of this role will include: Accountability for developing and maintaining the internal Risk Management Framework in line with Group & Solvency II standards, in close cooperation with senior management and Group risk management. This transcends across all risk types, covering insurance risk, market risk, credit risk, operational risk and other risk types. The approach will require partnering with the actuarial function in integrating the risk management framework and the internal capital model. Enhancing and rolling out risk management applications, including the maintenance of state-of-the-art risk registers and facilitating the usage of the ERM-system across risk owners and business groups. Developing and enhancing external and internal risk disclosure based on best practices and Solvency II requirements. Working across the ERM-family through interactive cooperation with all local offices to share best practices and build relationships. Verifying and challenging assumptions as well as Risk assessments by applying a local perspective.
