Description:
My client is a leading organisation that requires a senior capital actuary to act as the lead on a range of high level, commercial projects. Ideally, you will come from a diverse background including consultancy and company environments, and have a broad experience covering personal and commercial lines, London market, etc, etc. You will also be expected to have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a high level of commercial impact. You will be interacting with non-actuaries and working in multi-disciplinary teams to achieve your objectives. You will also be leading teams on a business critical path – this will cover providing technical steer, thought leadership, and providing commercial insight at high level. You will often talk to F.D, M.D, C.E.O – level management, and provide planning and leadership within a supportive environment that embraces risk. You must have excellent technical and commercial knowledge and have a genuine interest in the actuarial and risk landscape, and how it will continue to be shaped by on-going Solvency II needs. Excellent knowledge of ICA and technical modelling with IGLOO is a prerequisite.
