My client an expanding and prestigious insurance company requires Underwriters with specific experience in Life Insurance Underwriting; with an established team of experts providing innovative insurance solutions backed by the strength of a strong insurance company brand in the UK and Ireland. They focus on Individual Life, Critical Illness and Income Protection business. You will be working in a vibrant and fast paced environment and you will contribute to all aspects of reinsurance underwriting, including providing a top class support service for clients and involvement in client audits and training. Substantial opportunities to develop existing underwriting skills will be provided, and the role will involve learning claims management (previous claims handling experience would be an advantage). The successful candidate will be an experienced underwriter with proven experience at a insurer or direct office. Educationally qualified to at least 'A' level standard (or equivalent) with preference for the relevant CII diploma. You will have excellent technical and interpersonal skills and an appetite for new challenges.
