Description:
A long-standing leader of the global insurance market, based in the City, requires a Senior Technical Accountant to join its Technical Financial Accounting team. The team is undertaking various technical initiatives which will be varied and have wide ranging and complex impacts on the business. These can include extra disclosures (in line with Best Practice), revamping the architecture of the financial reporting system and setting standards. Driving forward the voluntary change, you will be involved in a wide range of ad hoc duties including CFO forums and working closely with the Financial Control team.
To be successful in this role you will ideally be ACA qualified with strong accounting standard knowledge including IFRS and EEV, ideally having worked in an advisory capacity. Strong communication skills are essential and prior Life insurance experience will elevate your application above others.
