Our client currently seeks to recruit a Restructuring & Insolvency Associate within their London office. You will advise some of the largest and most high profile deals in the market, our client is at the forefront of developments to meet the demands of old and new stakeholders, new laws, and tighter regulation. You will advise on the full range of restructuring and insolvency related issues including: corporate restructurings and reorganisations for borrowers and lenders; all forms of European, US and Asian insolvency and restructuring procedures, including administration, Chapter 11, liquidation, receivership and voluntary arrangements with creditors; trustees and bondholders of distressed issuers; director's duties under local insolvency legislation; cross-border insolvency issues; debt restructuring; distressed debt trading and investment in distressed assets;non-performing loan portfolio sales, purchases and financings; stressed refinancing; pension deficits in major restructuring; protocols between courts in different jurisdictions; fraud and international asset tracing recovery; structuring, assessment and enforcement of security; and risk analysis on structured financing, securitisations, project financing, derivatives and other financial products.
